Vinayaka is another name for the Hindu deity Ganesha, who is known as the remover of obstacles and the god of wisdom and intellect. Ganesha is one of the most popular deities in Hinduism and is widely worshipped in India and other parts of the world.

Ganesha is known as the patron of letters and learning, and is worshipped at the beginning of any new venture, to remove any obstacles and bring success. He is also invoked at the start of any religious or spiritual ceremony, and is considered to be the lord of beginnings and lord of obstacles (Vighneshvara).

Ganesha is also considered as the God of wisdom and intellect and is associated with the Siddhi’s, which are supernatural powers, and the Buddhi, which is the power of intellect, understanding and discrimination.
